Helck

Since the original source has already ended years ago, I really hope they eventually release another season to properly finish the anime. I’ve already become quite invested in the characters.

I’m really glad to see Piwi again. Honestly, even though the animation hasn’t improved much, the way the story builds tension and raises the stakes. Combined with the amazing voice acting and still makes everything work really well. Ever since Rafaed and Helck met, I’ve been completely on edge. It really shows how strong the storytelling is in this series.

For some time now, I’ve suspected that Rafaed was the one controlling the king and I still don't know the answers. Or actually Im confused. Still, I didn’t expect a side characters to be the one behind the awakening. It would likely be devastating for her to realize she was responsible for turning every human into mindless puppets.

It’s honestly ironic that humans are now the ones summoning monsters to fight against demons. And the cliffhangers just keep stacking up too. At this point, it feels impossible for the story to be neatly wrapped up in just three episodes, so it’s probably heading toward an even bigger cliffhanger to end things off.

I’m really glad the show brings back some of its early lighthearted, absurd tone, even with all the heavier events still unfolding. That balance has always been part of its charm for me, and the last few episodes did feel a bit too heavy at times.

This episode might be one of the rare moments where Helck shows more emotion in the present timeline. After all the buildup, I was really hoping Vermilio would give him a hug, but instead she went the opposite. But still really fitting and impactful. It was also surprisingly funny in its own way.

I saw it coming, but I still couldn’t hold back my tears when it happened. It was such an emotional episode. And now I guess we finally understand why Helck is always smiling, and why the episode had that title.

Helck’s actions were absolutely wild this episode. I even found myself curious about his voice actor, and I was genuinely amazed after looking it up. Overall, it was a pretty intense episode, but also surprisingly emotional.

Even though it’s a lengthy backstory, it’s incredibly engaging and well executed. Then I remember that this is still a flashback. It really helps explain how Helck became the person he is and why he stands with the demons. Each episode feels so short because I’m completely drawn into the story. I’m already looking forward to next week.

For most of the season, we’ve been left guessing what’s really behind Helck’s cheerful facade, since his inner thoughts were never revealed. Now that we finally get a glimpse of them, it turns out he’s basically just a straightforward, overly optimistic powerhouse. Somehow i feel sorry for him.

From this episode, I finally understand why there’s so much conflict between both sides. Hopefully Helck can become the bridge that connects them and bring peace. I’m already looking forward to the finale.

We’re finally seeing different sides of Helck that haven’t really been shown before. Both through his storytelling and in how he behaves in the flashbacks. This episode is so emotional.

The pacing of this episode is fine, but the storyline feels pretty standard. Nothing particularly standout. It mostly serves to set up the main plot. Still, it does make me even more eager to see what happens next.

One thing I really enjoy about this story is how Helck is portrayed as both a hero and a terrifying threat at the same time. It takes a familiar trope and turns it into something genuinely interesting and engaging. This episode also reminds Anne once again of how dangerous Helck’s power can truly be.

This episode is by far the funniest one so far. The writing is absolutely hilarious, yet it never feels too weird or overdone. Even the sound effects were perfectly timed and made the comedy hit even better.

It's so funny seeing Vermilio's reaction whenever they go through something. I'm pretty sure the two of them became much closer in this episode.

I'm really enjoying the journey between the two of them. Their chemistry has been developing nicely. Although I still hope to see even more teamwork and connection between them. This episode also made the witches' powers even more intriguing, which got me even curious about the world and what else is waiting to be revealed.

Seeing how powerful Azudora is, it really makes me wonder how strong the previous Demon Lord must have been. This episode also left me even more curios about how many different races exist and what kinds they are. It would be great if the director explores and reveals more of that in the upcoming episodes.

I really appreciate how the director keeps introducing more interesting and cute characters. It's also fun to see Vermilio acting like Vermilio and Helck being Helck as always. Overall, I think the writing is really solid and enjoyable.

I'm really excited about how their relationship is developing. It feels much better compared to the earlier episodes. Piwi is also incredibly cute here. I always love when the director adds adorable character in the episode. It makes the show so much more fun to watch.
