We finally get Maru’s backstory and his connection to the Great Disaster. The pacing is excellent, balancing his history with the tragic progression at the school. The scene after the cremation was absolutely chilling. The world-building just keeps expanding!

Owh. So that’s the thing with Mina. Humans really are both intelligent but vicious. That’s interesting does this children were from a Man-Eater species? Does the baby from the last ep are from a Man-Eater and modified to create a human like physics which is not turn as those childrens. I don’t need sleep I need answers lol.

The action in this episode was so well animated. Maru's fighting style is unique, and I love how they use their surroundings to survive. The tension is definitely ramping up now.
