The Director is absolutely unhinged! Planning a brain transplant is peak "mad scientist." The school is getting weirder by the minute, and Ohma’s nightmarish power is terrifying. The vibes here are really suffocating.

The pace is really picking up now. The test at the Academy is confusing but exciting, and the action scenes outside are as sharp as ever. I can't wait to see how this all connects.

Episode Context

Heavenly Delusion pulls focus away from the outside world and plunges back into the claustrophobic stillness of the academy. This is a psychologically charged episode that trades action for atmosphere, zeroing in on Mimihime's efforts to connect with Ohma, a withdrawn student whose presence carries an unsettling weight. The pacing is deliberate and slow-burning, letting discomfort accumulate through quiet interactions rather than spectacle. Expect the show at its most introspective, probing themes of isolation, perception, and the fragile boundary between what's real and what isn't. New fifth-year students shift the social dynamics inside the walls, adding fresh tension to an already uneasy environment. Production I.G leans into the series' signature dread here, the kind that lives in silence, not noise. A character-driven episode that rewards patience.
