Wow that was some good revelation right there. It made me speechless and my jaw dropped. The end was kind of a cliffhanger, i was on my edge of seat T_T

Episode Context

Arriving as episode ten of eleven, 'Bygone Banyue Days' follows the escalating adversarial tensions of 'Evil Taoist Scourge' by pivoting hard into backstory and character revelation, providing essential context for understanding the Banyue arc's true stakes. This is the critical bridge episode, everything established here feeds directly into the season finale, 'Right and Wrong, Buried in the Sand,' which will resolve the complexities and emotional threads planted throughout this penultimate chapter. Skipping this one would mean walking into the finale without the emotional foundation it depends on.
