Amazing episode, the action scene was cool! The fighting scene might be a bit average, but it was still nice to look at. The plot has finally started to get even more serious, it makes me more curious of what will happened. Respect to Uchimura though!

I’m really impressed by Uchimura’s character, especially the way he handles matters with care and strategy. His leadership helps the other characters grow, and Viper’s cunning nature adds a nice sense of tension to the episode.

This was a satisfying watch. The darker moments really make you hate some characters and get more invested in others. There are some solid twists too, and the little bit of action we got was a nice bonus.

Episode Context

Sitting at the three-quarter mark of this 12-episode run, Episode 9 directly follows the corruption revelations of Episode 8 and escalates the internal threat facing the Demon Army. This is a pivotal transition point. Uchimura must resolve the espionage crisis before external dangers arrive. It sets the stage for Episode 10's wyvern invasion and factional conflicts, meaning the fallout here carries direct consequences into the season's final stretch.
