EPISODE CONTEXT
Directly follows Episode 7's investigation into the Rampage King's mysterious pullout from trade agreements, now shifting focus from uncovering the problem to confronting the guild corruption behind it. This is the midpoint escalation of what appears to be a multi-episode trade and politics arc, with Uchimura and Sylphid working together as the central duo. Episode 9 will deal with the fallout — consequences for the corrupt merchant and wider implications for the Demon Army's trade network.
