I really enjoyed how this episode mixed village legends with Weda's past. Haré started researching local folklore for his homework, but the story gradually shifted into an emotional look at Ashio's unwavering loyalty to Weda. The dream's mystery, Rebecca's bizarre Poké helpers, and Haré realizing that Ashio cared for his mother more like family than a romantic partner made this episode surprisingly heartfelt;

Such a good episode! The funniest part for me was definitely when those brief, old characters randomly popped back up out of nowhere. Combined with the legendary lore and top-tier humor, that big reveal at the end capped off a great watch!
