I really enjoyed how this episode mixed village legends with Weda's past. Haré started researching local folklore for his homework, but the story gradually shifted into an emotional look at Ashio's unwavering loyalty to Weda. The dream's mystery, Rebecca's bizarre Poké helpers, and Haré realizing that Ashio cared for his mother more like family than a romantic partner made this episode surprisingly heartfelt;
