Turns Hamatora much darker and more emotional on this one. Art’s struggles finally take center stage, and his scenes with Moral are intense from start to finish. The atmosphere feels heavy, the story gets more serious fast, and the ending scene leaves a strong impact on viewers.
My perspective of the episode is that it’s a necessary look into the past. The big highlight is when we see the Academy days of Nice and Art. My opinion about the graphics is that the younger character designs are handled with a lot of care and look really fresh.
What I found fascinating is that overtime the the cat-and-mouse chase is more between Art and Moral, while Nice simply stumbles into it. It appeared to be a setup for Nice climatic moment in the arc but he did little to show off his deductive skill because of the thick cast
