It's nice to see that Ryunosuke has finally started training. It's also great to see him getting along with Saitou, not just the other Roshigumi members. It makes me think that he'll eventually become one of them.

A brilliant, character-driven examination of financial desperation and moral decay. The visual framing relies heavily on dim candlelight inside low-ceilinged rooms, casting heavy, brooding shadows over the main characters' faces. The graphics highlight a stack of gold coins, drawing the viewer’s eye to the corruption ruining the Roshigumi name.

I didn’t expect that from Saito and the short backstory was good too. It’s about time for Ibuki because I think the pacing for him was really slow and I’ve been wanting to see some development. Also, I have some serious thoughts about Serizawa but I'm not sure yet. And the tension at the end was high and made me look forward to the next ep.
