the way tooru talks to koushi is literally why oisuga has lived in my head for ten years and refuses to leave. and the oikawa and kageyama dynamic this episode is my absolute favorite thing this show does. these two on screen together is completely unmatched fr, oikage so peak man

sustaining tension across a single match over multiple episodes only holds if the pacing remains justified at each stage, and this episode earns its place. the deuce exchange doesn't drag because each point carries clear consequence. the oikawa and kageyama dynamic adds genuine complexity to the stakes.

there is a scene in this episode i will think about for the rest of my life and leave it at that. i was pressing keyboard keys like i was playing piano and i have no explanation for this behavior. deuce tension stacked on everything that came before it? this is peak cinema, no further discussion. oh furudate the man that you are
