transitioning from the training camp with a victory for fukurodani maintains realistic power scaling. however, the animation error regarding sakusa's character design is jarring. the reconciliation between the brothers provides solid emotional closure.

Takeda's metaphors always hit. and bruh the "Sakusa from Kanto region" AND SHOW THE BACK OF SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE CURLY BLACK HAIR HELLOOOO who the hell is that???? solid episode I guess... Oh, here comes Akiteru and the brothers finally talk about what happened. The episode ended with a glimpse of other schools around the Miyagi prefecture, building anticipation.

This episode was everything. Karasuno losing yet growing, THE BBQ AFTER OMG I LOVE IT! How chaotic Nishinoya, Tanaka and Yamamoto "protecting" Kiyoko after. I LOVE THIS EPISODE SO MUCH

Hinata refines his timing for the quick attack during the camp. A memorable moment comes when he finally connects with Kageyama on a perfectly timed jump that leaves blockers frozen.

The training camp officially ended with Karasuno vs Fukurodani's match. Even though result wasn't in favor, Karasuno went neck-to-neck with their opponent. Bokuto being "dejected" at the start and ending full on "high energy" mode was fun to watch. The barbecue party was soo wholesome and hilarious to watch!😂 Miss this kind of practice camps!!!!

This is why Haikyuu is such a great coming-of-age story. My ultimate comfort rewatch. Watching them be silly, enjoy each other, and rediscover the joy of volleyball through losses, bruises, and growth. That cycle is the heart of growing up.

This episode feels like a home, a pat on the back. Everything is so mundane and comforting, especially the barbeque scene with everyone gathering. It also introduced Bokuto in such a way that it emanates with his silly personality. Will definitely rewatch.

Fun lighthearted episode with team bonding

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the midpoint of the season, episode 11 serves as the culmination of Karasuno's grueling training camp arc, following their steady growth showcased in previous episodes like 'Cogs.' The match against Fukurōdani provides a benchmark for how far the team has come, while the post-match gathering offers emotional closure before the narrative pivots toward the high-pressure Spring Prefectural Tournament that will define the season's back half.
