EPISODE REVIEWS

It’s okay. Finally, an episode about Hikari, though it came pretty late into the season. I don’t like how Natsu now likes another girl and even feels bothered when a guy asks for his approval to date a different girl. Hikari’s dad may be strict, but he’s not wrong.

Episode Context

Coming off the emotional momentum of 'Wish,' Episode 7 deliberately downshifts into lighter territory, giving the relationships room to breathe before the stakes rise again. At the season's midpoint, episode 7 of 12, it functions as a transitional bridge, using summer vacation planning to reestablish group dynamics. The seeds planted here, particularly around Hikari and her father, appear positioned to pay off during the beach arc ahead.
