The team gets trapped in pocket realities and it's genuinely unsettling then Simon breaks through with pure will. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann debuts here and I cannot describe the feeling of seeing that for the first time. a Galaxy sized mecha is Unreal! O_o

Completely over the top but that’s exactly why it’s so entertaining. One team member makes a heroic and heartbreaking sacrifice to take down the massive threat. Battles are ridiculous in scale and creativity. You really feel the cost of victory. Animation goes all out.

This episode was definitely tense, as the team has time limit with possible death at the end. Despite not having lot of spotlight, Kittan is definitely one of the more prominent character, and I'm glad the show treats him with respect. The OST Libera me from Hell fits so well!
