Sea battle episode! Adiane attacks from underwater and Yoko jumps into Gurren to compensate. The team learning to fight without Kamina. Action is great, pacing is alright. It's still finding its post ep8 footing but this one feels way better! OwO

A calmer follow-up that feels nicely balanced after the chaos. The tone is softer. Simon finally snaps out of his slump thanks to regaining confidence in himself during the battle. Fights are still there but they serve the character moments better. Nice to see the team supporting each other more. Good growth episode.

feels more put together than it did before. Things start to look more organised when a new base is added and the energy is still there but now it seems like they know where they are going.
