This was a meh opening, there were quiet spaces in between battles which I really don't like, I want a battle without any interruptions lol. I can also feel the age of this anime through its animation which I understand coming from a 2003 anime. The premise of this show looks interesting though like how a war reshaped what normal looks like.

The visual graphic quality and sound are okay despite released at 2022/2023. Good episode 1. The storyline capture my attention.

An awesome first episode.. I like the idea of the storyline.. The post apocalyptic setting matches the vibe of the story.. Pretty good strong animation.. Spoiler, the chef looks like the ramen guy from Naruto..

Episode Context

As episode one of twelve, this is pure foundation, no prior context exists, and the series is building from zero. The arrival of the new recruit and the introduction of the 5121st Platoon's internal dynamics are the seeds the rest of the season will grow from. Subsequent episodes are expected to deepen individual character relationships and expand on the Genjyu conflict that this premiere only begins to frame.
