Peak episode with insane levels of animation that exceeds most of its era. Absolute cinema

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 3's devastating losses and Noriko's crisis of confidence, this fourth episode functions as the series' critical turning point, the bridge between doubt and determination. It transforms the personal grief and uncertainty of the first half into the resolve needed for the final act. Everything here directly fuels the escalation of Episodes 5 and 6, where the stakes shift from personal to existential.
