Painfully emotional episode which sets the tone for the upcoming battles

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact halfway point of this six-episode OVA, episode three bridges the training-focused first act with the escalating conflict of the back half. Episodes one and two established Noriko's raw talent and Kazumi's mentorship; this installment deepens those dynamics while introducing new character bonds that raise the personal stakes. It directly sets the table for episode four, 'Launch!! The Incomplete Ultimate Weapon!,' by transitioning from preparation into genuine warfare.
