Episode Context

Sitting at the quarter-mark of the 13-episode run, this episode follows the brutal, survival-focused 'The Song of Horsemeat In A Sandstorm' and uses that harrowing backdrop to pivot inward. Where the previous episode tested the protagonists physically, 'Duel In The Rain' tests them emotionally. It functions as connective tissue leading into 'The Song of Bowlegs,' laying the interpersonal groundwork that will likely shape the conflicts ahead.
