Episode Context

Following the destruction witnessed in 'The Destruction of the Dry City,' this episode marks the trio's determined push toward Samurai Creek, keeping the larger quest in motion while grounding the journey in immediate physical stakes. It functions as a transitional episode, less about plot advancement, more about establishing the hostile world standing between the characters and their destination. At episode 3 of 13, it sits at the start of the season's foundation-building phase, setting up the dangers and distances that will shape challenges ahead.
