EPISODE REVIEWS
In this episode, unprecedented things happen. You definitely don't know what's going to happen with this anime. They might be fighting, and suddenly something unexpected and completely contrary to what was expected occurs. The main villain is intelligent and manipulative, and the way he creates unease among the protagonists is masterful. It's quite a humorous, yet captivating, premise, and I also love it when they use the element of surprise.
This episode feels more intense because the conflict becomes personal, not just magical. Mercenary’s emotions, Zero’s complicated past, and Thirteen’s presence add real tension. It is a strong episode that makes the story feel heavier and more serious.
The episode also delves deeper into some of the secondary characters and the various motivations behind the search for the grimoire. It shows that not everyone is pursuing the same goal and that some are willing to do anything to gain power or protect their ideals.
