I still feel the series is a bit slow; nothing interesting happened in this chapter. Zero's team just talked to the townspeople, and at the end of the chapter, when I thought there would be a fight, everything was resolved in a very simple way.

The episode also showcases some of Zero's abilities and the mercenary's combat experience, making it clear that the two complement each other quite well despite their differences.

This episode is a bit slow, but Zero, Mercenary, and Albus starts to understand each other better. It also gives a clearer sense of how risky and dangerous magic can be in this world when wielded by the wrong hands and how misinformation affects human malice.
