I found the first episode interesting; the duo of the witch and the beast seemed different from the conventional, and the story told in the first episode made me want to keep watching the series. It starts a little slow for my taste, but the action picks up towards the end.

A bit dull. Zero and mercenry have a fun first meeting and their chemistry carries the episode right away where Zero immediately draws boundaries. They have odd partnership and characters complements each other while the world shows fear toward witches and beastfallen.
