EPISODE REVIEWS

I'm surprised that this anime actually remembers it's about diving ,at least for a few minutes. While the drinking games are still going strong, they showed us glimpse of the beauty of the ocean.

Episode Context

Coming off the chaotic first impressions of episode one, this second episode shifts from pure introduction to integration. Iori is no longer a bystander but someone actively wrestling with his place in the Peek-a-Boo diving club. It deepens the ensemble dynamics, particularly between Iori, Nanaka, Shinji, and Ryuujirou, laying essential groundwork for the group's evolving camaraderie and the diving-centric adventures that define the season's middle stretch. With ten episodes still ahead, this is early-season foundation work that locks in the comedic formula and character relationships the rest of the series will build on.
