they finally manage to deliver an inspiring diving sequence in the finale, though it is inevitably sandwiched between jokes about seasickness and drunk characters demanding nudity.

Everyone had a good diving experience, and it concluded their trip. YOU REALLY BELIEVED THAT? LOL, such a breathtaking anime will always end with a bang. This one is no different. They have a blazing drinking feast, and the duo carried the same competitive energy till the end.

"Liver damaging" episode! What a fun, hilarious moments through out the season! The ending hits that sweet "college life is crazy but great" vibe perfectly. You'll get to know another side of Aina😨. However this anime is worth watching! Totally enjoyed🔥

The underwater world is certainly stunning, something Chisa clearly see's. It was cute to watch Chisa try to make Iori feel better. Iori and Imamura delivered their reactions expertly, even during the finale. imo, this is one of the most entertaining shows of the season.

The finale keeps the same chaotic energy but wraps it with a satisfying sense of belonging. It reminds you why these idiots actually work as a group. Not a dramatic ending, but it fits the vibe perfectly—you’ll lowkey want more 😭

The finale really brought it home with the perfect mix of actual diving beauty and PAB chaos. Seeing Iori finally conquer his fear and experience the underwater world of Okinawa alongside Chisa was surprisingly touching—it actually felt like a diving anime for a second!

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the twelfth and final episode, 'Otori' caps off the Okinawa arc that began building in the preceding episodes, particularly following Iori's diving license struggles and misunderstandings in Episode 11. It functions as a culmination of the season's core thesis — that diving club life is roughly 10% diving and 90% catastrophic social situations. Rather than chasing a dramatic conclusion, the finale leans into the ensemble dynamic and comedic identity that carried the entire run.
