Iori lacks in diving skills, and it makes him anxious to be the only one struggling. Being there for each other is the core aspect of diving, and this episode encourages that. Still, it never ceases to deploy comic relief – those misunderstandings are hilarious.

the narrative structure has completely dissolved into pure comedic chaos, leaning heavily on character obsessions and exaggerated reactions rather than any cohesive storyline.

Misunderstanding at its peak! Seeing Iori struggle with his practice while everyone assumes the worst is hilarious. Azusa’s "offering" is fishy!! 👀. The pacing shifts smoothly between the chaos.

this was a fun episode. Aina's confusions were quite entertaining. The closing theme was actually good. I was surprised by that because they always treated it like a joke.

You really feel how tight this group has become—even when they’re destroying each other mentally. The comedy still hits, but there’s a stronger sense of connection now. A couple of bits feel recycled, but the energy keeps it fresh 😤

The misunderstandings in this episode reached a whole new level of legendary. Seeing Iori get caught in a compromising position by Chisa's mom and sister while trying to explain that the "naked guys" are just his diving club was painful to watch.

Don’t learn anything from this anime!

EPISODE CONTEXT

As episode 11 of 12, this lands right before the season finale, with the Peek-a-Boo diving club already settled into their Okinawa trip from the previous episode. Iori's push to improve his diving skills adds personal stakes that thread through the comedy, giving the finale something meaningful to resolve. This episode bridges the group's Okinawa arrival and whatever climactic payoff the final episode delivers, making it essential viewing for the season's closing stretch.
