A pretty comfortable start to the season! It doesn't rush into anything too dramatic and instead lets us settle back into Gran and Lyria's journey. I actually liked this approach because it feels like the beginning of another adventure rather than simply continuing where everything left off. Aliza is also a fun addition here. Nothing groundbreaking yet, but definitely an enjoyable opening 😊
Everyone is decked out in medieval fantasy armor, while Gran is out here rocking a hoodie. The party set off to fulfill a quest. Now the quest starts off in rpg fashion with questioning the villagers, nothing wrong with that just the villagers give out such cliche lines sounding more like npcs giving out rumors and speculation rather than concrete eyewitness accounts. The atmosphere is cozy, and the animation is masterclass I would expect nothing less of Studio Mappa even if it's a show and not a high budget film. The music is aesthetically pleasing, giving off a sense of adventure!
