📖 SYNOPSIS

The Koganedai Downtown FC Golden Kids have suffered a string of 22 consecutive losses since their formation, much to the dismay of their supporters. Captain and goalkeeper Goal Kitagawa is especially motivated to secure a win before he moves away in a month. The team's constant failures lead to bullying at school, and the adults in the community begin to lose faith in the Golden Kids.

The team's morale plummets until they witness Goal's unwavering dedication to practice. Inspired, the Golden Kids redouble their efforts, hoping to turn their fortunes around. Their next challenge is a match against the Wild Tigers, the second-best team in the Jonan League. The story explores themes of perseverance, teamwork, and the impact of community support, as the Golden Kids strive for their first ever victory. The adults' decisions regarding the team's future also hang in the balance.
