That opening scene drama, Ogata's return, and finding the gold without the skins? Yet, all of that pales in comparison to the disturbing backstory that dominates this episode and Tsurumi's twisted hold on his unquestioning followers. It ALL disturbed me deeply to my CORE!

This episode serves as an introduction to the Sapporo serial killer arc, this also features flashback on Tokishige, without spoiling anything he probably the most unhinged and devout follower of Tsurumi in the entire 7th division

The tone shifts here, leaning more into the emotional weight of survival. You start to see how far each character is willing to go, and it adds a darker layer to the story. It’s not just action anymore, it feels more personal.
