Much like episode five, this one is mostly without action scenes, but fear not: it's time for Tsurumi's big speech to shine (and a nice amount of gore). I'm enjoying these slower moments, helping some larger story pieces to settle properly.

Well that was really gruesome, never expected a flashback\lore dump episode to actually be this disturbing but here we are. The overarching theme here is that as long as greed exist in hearts of men, it will always corrupt them no matter how good their intentions are, good stuff.

By far one of the best episodes this season. That was such a heavy lore drop and it explained so many things at once. Definitely a standout episode.

Episode Context

Arriving at the midpoint of the final season's 13 episodes, this entry follows the personal conflicts and clue developments of Episode 5 ('Pinky Bone') and functions as the season's critical exposition cornerstone, the moment the gold's origin story and Wilk's foundational motives are brought into focus. It sets the stage directly for Episode 7 ('Ipopte'), with every character's understanding of their mission fundamentally altered.
