This episode builds up with more fast-paced action sequences in Sapporo. We even get the entire cast of the 7th division back into focus! This is probably the second-to-last section focused on the murder mystery, since it's hinted we're closer to finally see the full picture...

Well that was unexpected, didn't think they'll go in that direction. This episode is just pure, zany chaos, helped by the fact that everyone seems to go out of their way to settle personal scores instead of their objectives. Interesting to see where this goes in the next one.

The fireworks were so pretty, but they also turned everything into complete chaos. Lmfao. Why are the stakes so high while the episode still kept being this funny?

Everything is happening all at once, which makes the episode feel chaotic, but the pacing still works somehow. It’s very Golden Kamuy to escalate things into something both ridiculous and serious at the same time.

Why is everything still so chaotic? LMAOOO. Things are getting intense and serious, yet somehow even more chaotic and funny at the same time.

There’s still humor sprinkled throughout, but it’s clear that serious events are quietly building. I love how they're stirring this up LMAO

Relationships and alliances are tested here, with a small clash giving insight into characters’ motivations which make everything more interesting omg

The fireworks sequence is absolutely GORGEOUS and the action choreography keeps getting better every season. Golden Kamuy balancing brutal fights with genuinely funny comedy moments in the same episode is a skill no other anime has. Love this show.

The tonal whiplash between comedy and violence remains Golden Kamuy's signature strength. The fireworks setpiece is visually ambitious for Brains Base and the fight choreography shows clear improvement over season 4. Well-paced escalation throughout.

THE FIREWORKS SCENE IS BEAUTIFUL AND THEN IT IMMEDIATELY CUTS TO SOMEONE GETTING WRECKED LMAOOOO. Golden Kamuy switching between heartwarming and horrifying in 0.2 seconds is why this series is goated. The comedy timing is PERFECT as always.

Multiple groups are now in full motion with conflicting goals. Plans are forming, alliances are shifting, and the tension is already past the point of no return.

The Sapporo arc continues with the same pacing as the first. The action is creative with compelling faction dynamics, but the pacing leaves little room to breathe. It may be a bit overwhelming for newer fans.

This episode keeps the momentum going, with the chaos set up in the premiere now fully ignited. Every character feels like they are ready to snap. It becomes character-driven, unpredictable, and utterly gripping.

Inside the beer factory was definitely the comedic highlight here, the absurdity of it all and how the entire plot and characters just flowed with it, literally! It picked up the energy from the first few minutes, which felt slow.

Good story pacing with Asirpa's scenes. It's very interesting how amidst all the chaos, they can still make the main plot move.

Their plan in this episode was ideally structured well but the way they visually showed it was a bit all over the place. It was hard to keep up. But at least the plot moved a bit
