Given the intense start of the series, this episode brings form to the structure! Good to see some light hearted moments between the battle party and the new characters. Slow paced but good build up. Feels like some intense battle is coming. The hype of Goblin Slayer is real!
This episode will be the opening of the next episode's battle scene, and also the time when each of the core characters meets one another. I would not recommend you to skip this one, remembering that this is also the background story of MC's new journey with his new party.
The episode introduces another new characters, a quirky party of different races that has a request for GS. I like that there are some interesting perspective view that the studio made in this episode. Some people may think that the episode looked boring because there isn't much goblin slaying in it. The episode explores deeper on the MC and his obsession with goblins. P.S. I hate that the part when GS was saying he is like a goblin to a goblin was changed in the anime, this part was supposed to be an interaction with the guild girl 😤
