It’s a good start for the series, especially for anyone who likes dark fantasy. The tense, brutalism, and world setting are captured well enough. Worth investing in the story and each character’s background later.

If you think this is just another shounen adventure show, turn back now. If you're faint of heart, this isn’t the anime for you. The episode started out as a normal scene on any adventure anime then as the scene progresses it then plunges you to the dark side of things like being doused with a cold water called reality. The sountrack is a banger🤘and the VA of Goblin Slayer perfectly matches with the character just like what I imagined him when I was reading the LN.
