Episode Context

Sitting at episode 91 of 201, this is a standalone comedic breather nestled between other episodic installments, following Hasegawa's misadventures in episode 90 and preceding a more action-oriented assassin plot involving Matsudaira and Gintoki in episode 92. It's classic mid-run Gintama, cycling between character-driven comedy and heavier arcs, and this one serves as a refreshing showcase for the female cast before the tone shifts again.
