Episode Context

Sitting at episode 90 of 201, this is a self-contained comedic interlude deep in Gintama's first long run. It follows the surreal two-part adventure of episodes 88-89 involving the Yorozuya and Shinsengumi, and precedes another standalone comedy in episode 91 centered on the female cast. This stretch of the series leans into episodic character comedy between major arcs, reinforcing the ensemble's dynamics.
