Episode Context

This episode wraps up the 'Infant Strife' arc, resolving the tensions and high-stakes conflict involving Ofusa and her baby that built across the preceding episodes. It serves as a dramatic capstone roughly a quarter into the 201-episode run, demonstrating Gintama's capacity for sustained serious storytelling. Following this conclusion, the series returns to its signature blend of episodic comedy and adventure before the next major arc kicks in.
