Episode Context

Episode 51 marks the beginning of the Infant Strife Arc, pivoting away from the standalone comedy of Episode 50 and introducing new characters that will drive the next stretch of episodes. It functions as a setup episode, establishing the premise and comedic tone before the arc deepens in Episode 52 and beyond. At roughly the quarter mark of the series' 201-episode run, this arc represents Gintama continuing to build its world while balancing episodic humor with multi-episode storytelling.
