It is delightful to see how the adventure gradually expands without losing focus on the characters' personalities. Instead of relying on a major plot twist, the episode succeeds through excellent character dynamics and a natural flow of comedy.

I really can't get enough of the stupid expression that Gintoki make whenever there were any comedic scenes involving him. His over the top expression always make me laugh especially in this episode regarding the sword LOL

Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the 13-episode Slip Arc, this episode pivots away from the darker assassin-focused storyline of the previous episode and kicks off a new comedic arc often referred to as the 'Excalibur Arc.'
