Episode 9 is the bridge between the war and the finale, the show has been building to this moment since the series began, and now we're in the final stretch. Gintoki's disappearance is heartbreaking. He saved everyone, but he couldn't save himself. Shinpachi keeping the Yorozuya alive is a tribute to everything Gintoki taught him and the city rebuilding is a testament to everyone's hard work. This episode is the calm after the storm, but there are clouds on the horizon.
En terminos de desarrollo de la historia, se fueron por las ramas de una manera impresionante... Algo que solo Gintama puede hacer con éxito... Han pasado 2 años y Edo trata de recuperarse de la guerra y se nos presenta un nuevo fenómeno llamado Final Fantasy???? Un futuro caricaturezco con matrimonios, hijos y demáses... Pareciera que no pasó nada...
I would say this is a classic type of a Gintama episode. Absolute pure gold! I really enjoyed it a lot after a lot of action in the past episodes. I think they are giving us a breather before the finale or final battle.
