After all the emotional weight of the Silver Soul Arc, we need a reminder that Gintama is still a comedy at heart, Gintoki wearing Kyuubei's underwear on his head to avoid his friends is the most Gintama thing ever. The show is literally ending, and it's still making jokes. That's why we love it. It never stopped being Gintama, even at its most serious. The episode is a bridge to the finale, but it's also a love letter to the show's comedy roots. And honestly I wouldn't have it any other way.

This episode is the bridge to the finale. Gintoki and Takasugi finally talking is huge. They've been rivals for so long, and now they're on the same side. The fact that they're both still haunted by Shouyou's death is what makes this so powerful. They never got closure. They never got to say goodbye. And now they have a chance to change that. The Hijikata subplot is classic Gintama humor, but it doesn't take away from the emotional weight. Katsura as prime minister is absurd, but it fits the show's tone perfectly. The finale is coming. The pieces are in place. And I'm not ready for it to end.

The gang reunites! Okita, Shinpachi, and Kagura are back together. Gintoki and Takasugi team up for the first time in forever. The final pieces are in place. Gintama is heading toward its endgame.

The people of Kabukicho have been fighting without their greatest protector. And they've been holding their own. But Gintoki's return changes everything. The Four Devas leading the charge is a call back to one of the best arcs in the series, and seeing them unite the citizens is inspiring. The reunion we've been waiting for! This episode had it's seriousness and also it's classic comedy. But I do think that it had a bad ending or somewhat not what fans would expect. I'm gonna say it but judging on how they ended this season, I think there will be a movie for a proper ending. There's gotta be, right?

Episode 9 is the bridge between the war and the finale, the show has been building to this moment since the series began, and now we're in the final stretch. Gintoki's disappearance is heartbreaking. He saved everyone, but he couldn't save himself. Shinpachi keeping the Yorozuya alive is a tribute to everything Gintoki taught him and the city rebuilding is a testament to everyone's hard work. This episode is the calm after the storm, but there are clouds on the horizon.

Utsuro, who's been this untouchable force of nature, is finally on the ropes. He's losing his regeneration, which means he can actually be killed, and everyone is throwing themselves at him. Shinpachi gets one of his best moments in the entire series. Sadaharu saves the day.The fact that Utsuro feels fear for the first time is the point. He's always looked down on humanity. He's always seen them as weak, fragile creatures. And now they're the ones defeating him.

The lore drops about the Dragon Veins and Utsuro's immortality are crucial for understanding the final battle ,and the sense of dread is palpable. The image of the Altana erupting from the Earth, painting the sky in a haunting, sickly green glow that's the beginning of the end . Everyone is giving everything. The fact that Utsuro is actually losing his regeneration is a massive deal. It means they have a chance, but the cost is real.

After watching this episode, I've realized that among Shoyo's disciples, It's not Takasugi who is the smartest. For me it's Katsura and I also think he matured the most aside from his usual comedic persona. It was also to nice to see Gin's side with a kid. Interesting episode.

This episode is a love letter to Madao, Hasegawa has been the ultimate underdog since the beginning, he lost his job, his family, his dignity. He's been a punchline for hundreds of episodes. and now he's stepping up,the other branches of the Altana Liberation Army are ready to give up. They're about to surrender and Madao rallies them? That's insane. The guy who couldn't even keep a convenience store job just became a military leader.

This episode is the beginning of the endgame, the space battle is wrapping up, and the Earth battle is reaching its peak, Utsuro is the final boss, the Altana is the weapon and everyone from the Yorozuya to the Shinsengumi to the Yato is fighting together. Kamui and Umibozu fighting alongside the Yorozuya is huge. The family drama is finally being set aside for the greater good.

The Kiheitai taking down the Flame of Kagutsuchi is the culmination of everything they've been fighting for, and Takasugi's final moments,they're beautiful. He reconciles with his past, finds his purpose, and goes out on his own terms. The action is intense,the backstory is heartbreaking. The ending is bittersweet. Takasugi's arc reaches its peak. The Kiheitai's sacrifice is complete. And Enshou's backstory adds depth to the villain. This is the emotional climax of the Silver Soul Arc. Gintama at its absolute best.

This episode is a love letter to the Kiheitai, the action in space is intense. The Kiheitai's ship is holding its own against the Liberation Army. But the internal drama is even more compelling. Matako getting injured, Bansai carrying on Takasugi's will, and the Kiheitai's loyalty being tested.

The Kiheitai is fighting in space, the Yorozuya is fighting on Earth and the Yato family drama is finally reaching its climax. Kamui showing up to save Kagura is the moment we've been waiting for, He's not a bad guy, He's just broken. And he's finally acting like a brother. Gengai being captured is a classic.

The Kiheitai were formed to destroy everything. They're terrorists. Rebels. Criminals and now they're fighting to save Earth from total annihilation. The juxtaposition is perfect Gintama. Heavy action is balanced with heavy backstory. And of course, some classic Gintama banter between Takasugi and the other Joui 4 . Also Nobu Nobu, the former shogun who used to be a literal puppet for the bad guys, is running alongside Katsura declaring they're the national army. Katsura cuts him off and says they'll stick with being the rebel army. And Nobu Nobu smiles and says he'll join the rebel army to stand against the universe, perfect episode.

I was confused on some parts but it was really nice to see Gin and Takasugi together considering how their history is all over the place. Some of the arts were not good but one thing I liked is the Kagura, Sougo and Shinpachi scenes. I hope they don't mess up the remaining episodes.

Esto si fue romper la cuarta pared. 0 posibilidades de finalizar la trama. Vuelve el humor bizarro y desvergonzado de Gintama y la trama no avanza, de hecho nada finaliza. A su manera, el estudio de animación y el mangaka dan sus respectivas explicaciones y nada... toca esperar la siguiente temporada.

No se que es este descanso ridículamente cómico pero no está mal. Nunca había visto que explotaran así el recurso de los ojos como platos. El capítulo es demasiado chistoso, 0 desarrollo de la trama pero ya parece que no importa.

Vuelve el drama y con ganas!!! Gintoki y Takasugi se ponen al día con respecto a lo que han estado haciendo los últimos 2 años, por lo visto aún les quedaba mucho que sufrir. Reencuentros, despedidas y una misión. El enemigo que deben derrotar, aún no ha muerto.
