Episode Context

Positioned at the season's midpoint, this episode serves as a cooldown after the body-swapping comedic arc, pivoting into standalone character exploration. Mutsu and Sakamoto's backstory takes center stage here and carries directly into the following episode, forming a brief two-part character study that deepens the Kaientai's role before the season escalates into its heavier back-half arcs.
