Episode Context

As the thirteenth and final episode of Enchousen, this standalone comedy follows the emotionally heavy 'Courtesan of a Nation' arc, offering a deliberate cooldown that lets viewers decompress with the characters they've spent the season invested in. It functions as a series-characteristic palate cleanser, reinforcing the Yorozuya's everyday bond before the franchise moves into its next chapter. Rather than ending on a cliffhanger, Enchousen signs off with the comedic heart that defines Gintama at its most essential.
