EPISODE REVIEWS

I'm truly impressed by the tipping point. The tension between Riko and Kirino was well-deserved! I secretly root for Kirino due to her fair treatment, even though Riko was influenced as well. I did not expect a high school romance show to turn out this grim.

Unlike earlier episodes, there is no humor in this one but just pure, unadulterated drama. It's the fallout from the climatic moment in the previous chapters, and we thought these characters wouldn't take it that hard, I guess we're wrong. This was also the first time we see the plot device work but not in a positive manner, in fact, it was actually disturbing to see it function that way. These are possibly the darkest moments in the series, but in sense, this also seem to be setting up something big at the conclusion of this anime. Let us see if they can pull it off, I reserve my judgement for that.

It's a thrilling episode as the magic starts to affect the characters' relationships with each other.
