The finale delivered in every way. the emotional beats landed perfectly. the Tachikomas' choice was heartbreaking but beautiful. Motoko and Kuze's final conversation was everything. the Uchikomas at the end brought it full circle. Perfect ending to a masterpiece!

The animation and the music (shoutout to Yoko Kanno) really peak here, making every decision by Section 9 feel like it has massive, world-altering consequences. It manages to tie up the Individual Eleven arc while leaving you with some deep philosophical questions.
