The finale delivered in every way. the emotional beats landed perfectly. the Tachikomas' choice was heartbreaking but beautiful. Motoko and Kuze's final conversation was everything. the Uchikomas at the end brought it full circle. Perfect ending to a masterpiece!

The animation and the music (shoutout to Yoko Kanno) really peak here, making every decision by Section 9 feel like it has massive, world-altering consequences. It manages to tie up the Individual Eleven arc while leaving you with some deep philosophical questions.

the finale was a masterpiece. the tension of the meltdown, the team scrambling to save the city, the weight of every choice hitting at once. the tachikomas going in alone while humming their little song? that was brutal. the shot of them floating in the sea after? not okay. 😭
