Finally getting Kuze's backstory 💔 the war flashbacks were heavy. seeing how the refugees ended up where they are now adds so much weight to the conflict. the animation during the wartime scenes was gritty and raw. Kuze as a character makes so much more sense now.

Prime Minister Kayabuki is briefed on the existence of hub cyberbrains, and the implications of that are enormous. Meanwhile, Ishikawa comes back from the peninsula with a full report on Kuze's past. This is an information-episode but it doesn't really feel like one.

the investigation into kuze's past added so much weight to his character. watching ishikawa piece together what happened during the war while the prime minister's political situation crumbled? the parallel storytelling was tight.🔥
