EPISODE CONTEXT
This episode closes out the 'After School Hexer' arc — the show's second major case — which escalated last episode when Mai and Naru uncovered a disturbing collection of hexed effigies beneath Yuasa High School. Resolving this arc at the series' midpoint, it transitions the SPR team back to their home base at Shibuya Psychic Research, effectively clearing the slate and positioning the second half of the season for a fresh investigation.
