The pacing of the episode drags due to the emphasis on Kousaka being a “cool” nerd, plus the slow build of tension between reality and the club. The comical aspects is almost gone when you watch Kousaka struggle!

Looking at the episode, it challenges the stereotype that "cool" guys can't be nerds. The most intense sequence is when Kousaka out-otakus everyone without breaking a sweat. My opinion about the graphics is that the contrast between character fashion styles is very well-done.

Kasukabe is really going through it this episode. You almost feel bad for her, but then the club does something so ridiculous you can’t help but laugh. It’s a great look at the friction between real life and otaku life.
