Episode Context

Following the long-awaited showdown in 'The Promised Fight,' episode 61 serves as the emotional climax of that deeply personal rivalry, delivering payoff on character threads built across the entire series. Positioned just seven episodes from the end, it bridges the resolution of Kouya's most meaningful personal conflict with the tournament's escalation into near-mythical territory teased by the next episode, 'Is He the Legendary Gear God?' This is the heart before the spectacle of the endgame.
