Episode Context

Positioned at the series midpoint between Kouya's monumental gear upgrade in Episode 26 and the introduction of a significant new rival in Episode 28, this episode serves as a deliberate transitional breather. It gives Kouya, and the audience, a low-pressure environment to appreciate his new gear's potential before the high-stakes Asian Cup arc ramps up the competition. Think of it as a lighthearted shakedown run before the real battles begin.
