Episode Context

Sitting at episode 72 of 100, this installment follows directly from the events of Episode 71, where Southern Youkai arrived in Japan, escalating the supernatural conflict into broader territory. The awakening of the Youkai Castle and the introduction of Shu-no-Bon deepen that escalation, feeding directly into Episode 73's mystery of the Forty Seven Youkai Warriors. This stretch of episodes marks a clear late-series intensification, building toward the final act.
